Özet (EN)
In this study, the effects of static and dynamic core training on the physical and selected performance characteristics of 11-13 year old male football players were examined. The aim of the study is to examine the effect of the applied dynamic and static core training programs on the physical and selected performance characteristics that are at the forefront in football in the 11-13 age groups. The research group consisted of 42 volunteer child athletes between the ages of 11-13 who played football in Etimesgut Güçü Sports Club. The research was prepared according to an experimental method involving 10 weeks. The study consists of two experimental groups and one control group. During the process, 1 athlete from the control group left the study due to injury. Measurements were made before and after the experiment in all three groups. At the end of 10 weeks, the football players will be subjected to core performance tests respectively (leg lift, sit-up, push-up, medicine ball throw), and they are compared by analyzing repeated measurements within and between groups in pre- and post-test order. In addition, age, height, weight and BMI measurements were applied to the groups before and after the study and their comparisons were made. Analyzes regarding the effects of inter-group, intra-group and training were carried out with multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA) in repeated measurements. In significant relationships, Bonferroni Test was used for Post Hoc comparisons, and the significance level was accepted as 0.05. As a result of the measurements, no change was observed in the anthropometric measurements of the athletes. Significant changes were observed in the experimental groups in all push-up, sit-up, leg lift and medicine ball throwing tests, which include core performance measurements of the athletes (p <0.05). In psychomotor measurements, significant results were obtained only in the T-Test results of the experimental groups, but no significant results were obtained in other performance measurements. Based on the research findings, it has been observed that static and dynamic core training applied regularly in secondary school football players positively improves core performance, but is not equally effective on psychomotor performance. In this context, it is recommended to do core exercises to increase the core performance level of developmental football players.
