Consideration of deliquent child and process of recovering it to the society in the contecxt of strengthening approach

The problem of children which is driven into crime, in today's societies, has become one of the main problems of all countries regardless of their level of development. This problem of societies continues to increase day by day and at this point, states have started to determine specific policies and legal regulations both at national and international levels. The main purpose of these legal regulations and policies is to act with the principle of adopting the best interest of the child. As a social problem, reintegration and rehabilitation of the child dragged into crime should be most important goal. The problem of delinquent children which has recently started to increase in our country, has made it obligatory to include policies and regulations in this field in the public order. The regulations made in this field have determined both the place of the child in the judicial justice and the practices applied after the judicial process. Considering child dragged into crime as a social problem, the necessity of the social work profession stands out more. The social work studies conduct studies on children dragged into crime at micro, macro and mezzo levels. As a profession works one-on-one with children from the reason of the child's delinquency to the judicial process, from the process of the reintegration into the society to the practice of probations, social services and practices should be widely included in this field. Education and psychosocial support practices applied to children should benefit from social work practices at this point. In this study, the module applied to children driven into crime were evaluated in the context of the strengthening approach and the importance and practice basis of this social work approach were clearly stated.
