Examination of society 5.0 in the light of sustainable development goals

Abstract (EN)

This research aims to determine the possible relationships between sustainable development and its sub-dimensions and the perception of society 5.0. In the literature, it is seen that few studies have been conducted on sustainable development goals and society 5.0 issues, limited to certain focal issues. It is thought that this research will contribute to the elimination of this deficiency in the literature. In this research, which is based on the quantitative paradigm, the relational survey model and the field research design were used. The sample of the research consists of 701 Turkish citizens between the ages of 18-69 residing in Turkey. Obtained data were analyzed by correlation, Anova and t-test analyses. According to the findings, it has been determined that there is a positive relationship between sustainable development and Society 5.0. In addition, it has been determined that there is a positive and negative relationship between individuals' perceptions of socio-economic development, sustainable development and society 5.0 perceptions, respectivelyIt has been determined that individuals with a positive perception of socio-economic development have high perceptions of sustainable development, whereas perceptions of society 5.0 goal are low. In the research, the results that are thought to make important contributions to the literature were obtained and suggestions for future studies were presented.
