Abstract (EN)
The passive home represents a performance-based energy standard for high efficiency buildings that can naturally regulate climate without mechanical support. The difference between active houses is that automation is a very focused point in passive and hybrid homes. The reason is to achieve maximum efficiency by saving energy. It is clearly known that it is valid for all climates of the world. In cold climate conditions, the design typically focuses on minimizing heat losses and optimizing solar gains. In warmer climates, moderate insulation is sufficient, including improved window attributes, but on the other hand, building performance requires a more careful evaluation during the summer months. In warmer climates, insulation requirements increase again and solar loads from Windows, walls and roofs must be limited. This study contains information about the construction of a passive home in the direction of Azerbaijan climate conditions. The purpose of the thesis is to determine the possibility of building a passive home in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The scope of the research is passive home technologies. In this research thesis, the new technology and construction techniques proposed in accordance with climate and urban formation in Azerbaijan provide a method for the possible situation of "passive home" design and implementation.
