Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the period of Turkey-Russia relations between the years 2010-2020 is discussed in the context of Syria; The historical processes of the three actors that determine the relations of the state were explained to the reader and it was aimed to determine what kind of changes were shaped by which dynamics in the process that came to 2010. After explaining the causes and consequences of the change in bilateral relations in the historical process, the causes and consequences of many factors such as the balance of power, the threat of terrorist organizations, and irregular migration in this geography, which was dragged into civil war with the Arab Spring wave that started in Syria in 2011, were tried to be analyzed. While conducting this research, resources such as books, journals, articles, theses, internet resources and the approach of the press were used. In particular, the developments between the years 2010-2020, in which the main theme of the thesis is explained, are intended to be understood and explained with the way the domestic and foreign press handle the events, as well as the sources used. While doing this, the choice of newspapers with high circulation in the press and known for their opposing articles was preferred. After the local press was handled and interpreted in a multi-faceted way, the events were also evaluated within the framework of the foreign press, and an effort was made to make inferences by questioning the world's view of the event. While making inferences after the explanation of the determined period, it was desired to put forward the thesis based on the relations in the historical process, and it was concluded that the thesis will be a determining factor in the bilateral relations between the parties in the next process.
