Analysis of Suzan Albek children's literature works in terms of values education

The aim of this research is to determine the values that are wanted to be given in Suzan Albek's works in the context of children's literature and to reveal their importance in terms of values education. In the study, a corpus consisting of two novels, three stories, a memoir and three theater works written by Suzan Albek was examined. In the study, interview one of qualitative research methods, was used, literature review and content analysis were made. The research consists of three parts. In the first part, the theoretical framework, in the second part Suzan Albek's life, literary personality and works, and in the third part, the findings related to the values education in Suzan Albek's works were presented and evaluated. These determined educational values were; It was classified as universal, national, religious, personal and moral values. The works were scanned one by one in terms of these determined values, and the findings were presented with examples and supported by tables. As a result of the examination, it was determined that the most common value in the corpus was cooperation and sharing. This value is followed by love, responsibility, compassion; Being patient and humality were the least common values. In the examined works, no messages that could constitute a negative example in terms of values education were found.
