Abstract (EN)

Sızma–Kurşunlu polymetallic Hg-As-Au mineralization, which is placed in between Kurşunlu and Bahçesaray villages at 30 km NW of the Konya Central Anatolia is known to the biggest mercury deposit of Turkey. Geological basement of the mineralization area is form with Bozdağ Formation which is represented by Paleozic in age marble and Bağrıkurt Formation which forms with schist (mica) and metasedimentary rocks. Triassic in age metavolcanic rocks overlay on these basement rocks. Sızma-Kurşunlu polymetallic mineralization is seen within the the shear zones which cuts schists and generally gossan formed (limonite & hematite) is observed. Units in the region are folded and slipped by the faults due to tectonism. It is observed that, 14 samples taken from the study ares gives. Hg, As and Au anomalies in the assay results. In the gossan is formed, pyrite and arsenopyrite minerals are observed as primary. Gossan is formed represents limonite minerals as secondary. 8 water samples, representing dry and wet periods are collected from faulty zone that, mineralization is observed and hydrogeochemical analyses have done. All water samples are representing carbonated nature which is Ca-HCO3 aquifer facies. Some of the physical and chemical parametres of these water samples have are, Ph 7.07-7.40, electrical conductitivity (EC) 408-632 µS/cm, total dissolved solids (TÇKM) 270-570 mg/L, total hardness 104,61-430,03 mg/L. Water sources are relatively rich is As, Sb and Hg elements. These elements constitute toxic elements risk for human and the other living inhabit in this area.
