Prof. Dr. Mehmet ERKANIn this study, repertories of all the concerts held by Ministiry of Culture andTourism, Ankara State Chorus of Classical Turkish Music, one of the perfectassociations of our country?s culture and art life are studied from its foundations topresent. However, in selected repertories which period?s Turkish music works areemphasized, from which form of works selections are made mostly determined. Inaddition, foundation objectives and today?s pratices relating to Ministiry of Culture andTourism, Fine Arts Directorate and associated Choruses of Turkish music are examined.
