Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to examine the self-esteem and psychological resilience levels of elite taekwondo players according to demographic variables and to determine the relationship between them. Relational protection method was used. It was developed by Rosenberg (year), who used the data collection tool in the research. RBSÖ was applied to 222 volunteer national athletes trained by the PSÖ random method developed by Blok and Kremen (1996). With the analysis of the obtained data, T test for paired groups, Oneway Anova test, and Pearson correlation test were used to determine the relationship. It was determined that the self-esteem and psychological resilience of the participants were at a moderate level and the psychological resilience levels of the married and university graduate athletes were significantly higher in terms of demographic variables. According to the correlation results, as the self-esteem level of the athletes increased, the level of psychological resilience also increased.
