Mobbing applications in team sports and determinations of perception levels of athletes on mobbing

In that study, experienced mobbing behaviours are examined in the field of sports from the perspectives of athletes to determine athletes perceptions intended to mobbing. Within this frame, for being expedient to the purpose of that screening model study, data collection tool with 2 parts have been used. At first part, researcher has developed a persona linformation form to reveal demographic specifications of the participants. On the other part;the scale developed by Einarsen and Raknes (1997), which' adoptation toTurkish made by Cemaloğlu (2007), adoptation made to field of sports by Cengiz (2008) mobbing scale implemented. As a result of adoptation to the field of sports, scales Cronbach'alpa coefficient determined as 0.94. As Scale duty sub-dimension ( 3, 4, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21), organizational communication sub-dimension (2,13,14,16,10,22), and social relations sub-dimension (1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 20) it consist of 3 sub-dimensions. To make evaluation of researching datas as a statiscal method frequencey, and percentage distrubion, because of thedatas not distrubuted normally at binary groups Non parametric tests like Mann Whitney's U test, for multi groups Kuraskal Wallis tests has beenused. According to datas obtained from research; determination made like research conducted on athletes shows they have low-level scale mobbing sense, 29-34 age group athletes more exposed to mobbing, bachelor's degree athletes get more points from mobbing. Also if its examined according to branch variables, it shows at the duty and organziational communication sub-dimesions volleyball athletes, at the social relations sub-dimensions ice hockey and volleyball athletes gets more suffered from mobbing.
