According to Tanin the atrocities at the Balkan Wars and the activities of Ottoman women

The Ottoman headed towards the West to extend its borders, and it tried to firstly settle in Rumelia. However, the Ottoman Empire, like as the other contemporary empires, was affected by the French Revolution, and the ethnic groups began the crack the Ottoman Empire with the support of big powers in the Balkans. At the beginning of the twenty century, the Balkan nations struggled to extend their borders against to each other and the Ottoman Empire. In this study, we tried to evaluate the social dimension of the Balkan Wars with the examples from Tanin.In this study, according to Tanin, we touch on the subject of the atrocities in the Balkans during the Wars, and tried to study the missions and helps of the Ottoman women for the Muslims in the Balkans.Key Words: The Balkan Wars, Tanin, the Atrocity in the Balkans, the Massacre, Hilâl-i Ahmer
