Abstract (EN)
From the second quarter of the 19th century, there has been an intense imigrant to the interior of the Ottoman Empire from many different regions, particularly the Crimean Caucasus and Rumelia. Eskişehir has been one of the important places where emigrants are being maintained. The emigrants came to Eskisehir from different geographians such as Crimean Caucasus, Rumelia, Germany, France, Batumi, Syria, Lebanon and Jerusalem. These migrans have been examined in the group of external migrations, internal migrations and seasonal migrations, and the changing population structure in Eskişehir has shown changes in socio-cultural and economic aspects. Thus, the Yoruk-Turkmen communities that emigrated to Eskisehir in Ottoman classical periods were replaced by emigrants from regions such as Crimean Caucasus and Rumelia. Especially between 1839 and 1918, the population of the Crimean Tatarı, Nogai, Circassian, Abkhazian, Bosnian, Pomac emigrants was found extensively in Eskisehir. Moreover, these emigrants established new settlements in the places where they lived and created the sub-structures of the villages and neighborhoods that reached the present day. On the other hand, it has been determined the of immigrant populations identified Jewish, Armenian, Greek, Protestant etc. Keywords: Eskisehir, Emigrant, Crimean, Caucasian, Rumelia.
