Abstract (EN)

Cultural heritages are the most important tools that carry the traces of the past to the future. Inheritances that form integrity within the historical environment may be damaged or even destroyed for some reason. Protection intervention is required within collapsed or damaged structures. As a result of the revival of the works that have been destroyed with reconstruction, which is one of the methods of conservation intervention, historical circles can regain their old identities. Within the scope of the study, the historical reconstruction applications to architectural structures with cultural values have been examined. In the first part, the literature review was done and the place of reconstruction in protection, its definition, necessary conditions, its place in laws and problems were examined with examples. In the second part of the study, ten important reconstruction applications made in Trabzon starting from the date of Trabzon were evaluated according to the table created. There are seven criteria in the table and the success of the structures is explained according to the criteria. In addition, a reconstruction evaluation table was applied among the structures in the literature that disappeared in Trabzon. In the third part of the study, determinations were made about the structures examined in the evaluation table. At the same time, some data were reached within the criteria in the table. In the final part of the study, suggestions are given for reconstruction applications. In addition to this, conclusions were reached about the reconstructions that could be done in Trabzon.
