Abstract (EN)

Turkey has many buildings of historical and cultural value. These structures are of great importance in terms of reflecting the accumulation and techniques of different times and cultures. It is possible to reveal the performance of reinforced concrete and steel structures constructed with modern technology in detail by using advanced numerical methods. however, due to the discontinuities in the masonry structures and the changing material properties, difficulties may be encountered in determining and interpreting the structural performance. In this study; information about the materials used in the masonry structures and the carrier systems. Modeling techniques of masonry structures and analysis methods are explained. Information about the construction technique, material properties and location characteristics of Bayburt High School, which was built between 1944 and 1947 in the center of Bayburt, was collected. The current problems observed in the structure were determined by taking the measurements of the building. By using SAP2000 program, it is aimed to determine the three dimensional finite element model of the structure and determine its dynamic performance. It is aimed to determine the structural behavior of the building by using the actual earthquake records. As a result, it was concluded that the structure could be damaged in a possible earthquake. It has been found that strengthening may be required to prevent this.
