Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the effects of agricultural sales cooperatives on labor market and social policy are examined. İn this direction, two different semi-structured interview forms consisting of 10 questions were prepared. Trakya Birlik Oil Seeds Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union, which is established in Trakya Region, is randomly selected as one of the employees and partners of the Agricultural Sales Cooperative; 5 questions for 15 employee to evaluate the labour market and 5 five questions for 15 cooperative partners to evaluate the soical policy impact. Content analysis method was applied to the interview analysis key and the data obtained were interpreted. İt is seen that agricultural sales cooperatives carry out many implementation aimed at social policy especially towards their partners and farmers in their region. İt can be interpreted that it increases the feelings of unity and solidarity among cooperatives partners and also provides education and information on agricultural issues, especially its contribution to agricultural economy. İn addition, although agricultural sales cooperative have limited direct contribution to employment in their region, it can be said that, in terms of labor market, different sectors benefit from agricultural sales cooperative indirectly.
