Researching the effect of discussion-based teaching activities to the teacher candidates about their ideas at risk taking sensation and critical thoughts related to genetically modified (GM) food

Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is one of the most debated subjects of biotechnology. By these thoughts based in discussion, the effect of class teacher who has the sense of risk taking and critical thinking tendency about genetically modified nourishment was tried to be determined. in this research, pre and post control group test, called half experimental research, are used. This research has been carried out with third year students attending in "Adiyaman University Education Faculty in class teaching main science branch" at 2012-2013 education fall term. Data that were considered throughout this research analysed by SPSS 17.0 statistical packet program.
