Abstract (EN)

The human hand is of great importance in the execution of daily activities. In addition to having high mobility, it is also essential for communication and sensory skills. It can hold, squeeze, and detect objects in many ways and with precision. With their contribution to fine motor skills, they function almost like the body's toolbox. Hand dysfunction may arise due to injury, paralysis, surgical complications, or certain neurological impairments. The high probability of cerebrovascular events leading to loss of function in the hands and the increasing life expectancy data clearly demonstrate the importance of treatment. The design of wearable robotic devices is attracting more and more attention from academia and commercial organizations. The number of commercial products and scientific studies also proves the interest, but the struggle in this area is not yet complete. The complex anatomical structure of the hand, the need for a light, sensitive, ergonomic, and intuitive device solution, and the need to be deployed in a restricted area such as the top or bottom of the hand are just some of the challenges for the device to be designed. In this study, it is aimed at contributing to this need of humanity and the world of science. A low-cost rehabilitation device that is suitable for the nature of therapy, human anatomy, and psychology, and offers a solution to the problems addressed, has been proposed as a complete solution with its mechanical and software components.
