The translation of the work name "Tecvîd-i Reşâdiyye" into today's Turkish alphabet and its assessment in terms of tajweed science

Learning the Qur'an is fard for every Muslim, and reading it with tajweed is fard kifâya. In order to ensure that this fard kifâya can be fulfilled, countless works have been written in the field of tajweed after the time of our Prophet to the present. One of these works is called the Tecvîd-i Reşâdiyye, written in Ottoman Turkish, by Mehmet Kâmil Efendi, who was one of the last Ottoman scholars and taught the Quran in Kastamonu Daru'l-Muâlimîn. This work, which is the subject of our study and is also used as a textbook, was written according to the Asım recitation and Hafs narration. In the first part of our study, the life of Mehmet Kâmil Efendi was examined, and information was given about the sources he used and the authors in his work called Tecvîd-i Reşâdiyye. In the second part, the translation of the work into today's Türkish Alphabet. In the third part, Mehmet Kâmil Efendi's work called Tecvîd-i Reşâdiyye is evaluated in terms of the science of tajweed, and then the authors who benefit from his work and their works are included.
