The effect of supply chain integration and strategies on firm performance and the intermediary role of supply chain performance

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of supply chain integration and supply chain strategies on firm performance and whether supply chain performance has a mediating role in this effect. For this purpose, quantitative research method was used and data were obtained by conducting a survey on 505 companies operating in the TRC 1 region, which is the universe of the study. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and AMOS 21 package programs. In the results of the analysis applied in the study, it was determined that supply chain integration and supply chain strategies positively affect the performance of the firm. Likewise, it has been seen that supply chain integration also affects supply chain performance. In addition, it was found that lean, agile and hybrid supply chain strategies, which are the sub-dimensions of supply chain strategies, have a positive and significant effect on firm performance. It was found that lean and hybrid strategies positively and significantly affect supply chain performance. Finally, it has been found that supply chain performance has a mediating role in the effects of supply chain integration and strategies on firms' performance.
