Abstract (EN)

Organizations struggle to sustain their existence under very harsh competition conditions in the global world, which is the result of the fast change in telecommunication and information technologies. The changes especially in the business world and in social life, natural disasters, socio-political reasons have gained a role that threatened the aims of organizations, and started a negative stress on the performances of organizations. Reducing the negative effects of supply chain risks on business performance is crucial for businesses and is thought to be a significant contribution to reducing the potential adverse impacts of suppliers. This study aims to determine the effect of supply chain risks on the performance of organization, and to determine the moderator role of the supply chain risks on the performance of organizations in this interaction. The study was conducted on the manufacturing companies that were active in the (OIZ) in TRC 1 region. The data that were collected from 302 medium and top-level managers were analyzed with the SPSS and AMOS Package Programs. As a result of the analyzes, a significant relationships between supply chain risk sub-dimensions, business performance and supplier relationships, and found that the effects of supply chain risks on business performance are moderator effects on supply chain risks of supplier relations and supply chain risks of supplier relations on business performance.
