The effect of supply chain management applications on operating performance: An application in Gaziantep

ABSTRACT Supply chain management in an increasingly competitive environment with globalization; is seen as one factor affecting the business' performance. Companies want to maintain their competitive positions in the global market's competitive environment while using supply chain management to fulfill their new customers' demands. In this context, my thesis's purpose was determined as the investigation of the effect of supply chain management applications on business performance. The questionnaire, which was created by using supply chain management and business performance scales in the research, was applied to 176 manufacturing companies in Gaziantep. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS and AMOS programs. As a result of the analysis made, supply chain management practices have a significant and positive effect on business performance.
