Abstract (EN)
This study is aiming at investigating the effects of attitudes on conceptual understanding and inquiry attitudes of pupils in the 6th class on the subject sound and light. This study is carried out according to the pre-experimental research method. Sample of this study is performed on 16 pupils that have attended in 6th class in a county center of Giresun city. As data collection tool; conceptual understanding test, inquiry attitude scale and Sound and Light interview about events and cases and semi-structured interview on teaching process form are used in this study. Qualitative datas are analyzed being used descriptive analysis method. Quantitative datas are analyzed being used Wilcoxon signed ranks test in programme SPSS 15:00 as well. It is seen that inquiry-based learning approach has been effective on conceptual understanding and has also been seen no significant differences on inquiry attitudes of pupils. Apart from this study, the results of the study state us being research for the pupils on different views such as academic achievement, attitudes on lesson and technology by combining different approaches with technology, being done studies using different technology intended for researching and questioning to prepare lesson plan are recommended.
