Abstract (EN)
Many work place accidents are frequently seen in textile industry which is one of the locomotive sectors of Turkey by production, employment and export. According to statistical data of SGK In 2015, 12,041 work place accident shappened and 15 of them resulted with death, besides, 7 occupational disease was recorded. Inthesector, firms establish OHSAS – TS 18001 standard for increasing the production quality and gaining competitive advantage. But, thesector is SME-intensiveand OHSAS TS 18001 is voluntary instrument and most of them don't preferthis. Intheresult of thestudy, documentation was observed as basic problem in firms' OHSAS- TS 18001 establisment.
