Abstract (EN)
Hard ceramic films can be produced by different coating techniques. Chemical vapor deposition (CVP) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) techniques have the most important techniques. CVD can lead to the heavy distortion of the treated parts and PVD requires expensive and complicated equipment. Therfore, after the searching for methods that are more economical but having the same results, thermoreactive diffusion (TRD) method has been developed. In this study, using the technique of thermo reactive diffusion (TRD) it is aimed to increase hardness and abrasion characteristics of cold work tool steel and and thus increased tool life. For this purpose, using TRD methods, trowels and rollers surface are coated with Ti by means of diffusivity and try to have hard and also high wear resistance carbide.
