Determination some mutation of hbs and detection some blood indicators in Hepatitis B in Thi-Qar province

Viral hepatitis are infections caused by five etiological agents, such as hepatitis A virus (HAV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), hepatitis delta virus (HDV), and hepatitis E virus (HEV), which have tropism for liver tissue. Hepatitis B virus ( HBV ) , a thief of the Hepadnaviridae family . It is a small enveloped virus with a DNA genome of about 3.2 kb. In this study, the determination of RLS mutations and some blood indicators in hepatitis B were performed in patients in Thi-Qar province. For this purpose, comparative samples were collected and analyzed on 200 patients, 100 in the treatment group and 100 in the control group. The number of patients was 63 male and 47 female . The isolation dates of the samples were between May 2020 and April 2021 . Men were more dominant than women and made up just over half of the total number of participants (57.6%). The age of the control (n = 100) ranged from 8 months to 88 years (mean: 31.6 years: standard deviation: 20.0). Of the 110 samples obtained in the first phase of the study and analyzed by ELISA, 56 (50.7 %) were positive for any of the HBV serological markers, and n-2 samples were presented as unspecified serology for HBV.
