Application of trade business skills training vocational high school students in accounting department, improving the efficiency of the application, and problems faced at practice, an application the city of Gazi̇antep.

Accounting education in our country has very important part in vocational and technical educational activities. The need of accountant from goverment institutions to the private sector, from non-government al organizations to charities, from trade associations to cooperatives, and nearly in all sector can be shown as a result of accounting education is so important. Trade high schools have an special importance in order to train personel for accountancy. In this paper, after the theoretical side of accounting education had given at trade high schools was examined roughly, aplication of skill training at businesses, which is the practical level of accounting education, was examined in detail. A questionnaire was implemented at 4 trade high school and 319 students in Gaziantep. Students opinions about accounting education, traning and problems was illustrated. In addition, solve ideas about vocational and technical education problems in Turkey were suggested in the last parf of the thesis.
