Abstract (EN)
The world population is increasing day by day, and with it the needs are increasing and the demand for products is also increasing. With the emergence of new product types and increasing product requirements, production resources have become limited and efficient use of resources has become important in meeting the requirements. For this reason, humanity has done a lot of research to develop solutions that use resources more efficiently and make production methods more efficient. It is the process of eliminating many movements and situations that reduce efficiency in production. Lean production system is the principle of zero error and zero stock. Waste can be eliminated or reduced by using lean production systems. In this way, activities that bring costs to companies but do not create added value are prevented. Waste is reduced and companies' competitiveness increases. Companies must use their resources correctly in order to survive in the world market. In this study, it is explained in the light of current information on how the system can work faster, easier and safer by eliminating waste in production within a global automotive company and presenting a different method to assembly line improvement studies and assembly line balancing problems.
