Abstract (EN)
In this study, 10 novel Schiff bases numbared 46 (47,48,49,50,51) and 52 type (53,54,55,56,57) were synthesized from the reaction 2-(4-amino-5-oxo-3-(thiophen-2-ylmethyl)-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazol-1- yl)acetohydrazide (45) with one and two equivalent rates of thiophene-2-carbaldehyde, furane-2-carbaldehyde, pyridine-3-carbaldehyde, benzaldehyde ve 4-methoxybenzaldehyde respectively. Synthesized compounds were tested for antioxidant and antimicrobial activities. While 46 and 52 type compounds did not show antimicrobial activity, compounds 46 (47,48,49,50,51) and 52 type (53,54,55,56,57) gave moderate antioxidant activitiy. The synthetic 10 new compounds were identified by FT- IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR (APT) and LC/MS-MS data. Possible reaction mechanisms were proposed for the synthetic compounds.
