Abstract (EN)
In this study, aqueous solutions of glyphosate herbicide prepared based on the concentration used in agricultural fields were added to five artificial field setups created in the laboratory, and B. aryabhattai bacteria were added at various concentrations to each of these setups. By taking the filtrate from these setups day by day, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and total organic carbon (TOC) parameters were checked and the removal efficiency of B. aryabhattai bacteria was followed. The toxic effects of the filtrate taken before and after the treatment, which has the highest removal efficiency, on G. pulex are also determined by enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant parameters such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), acetylcholinesterase (AChE), glutathione (GSH), The changes in thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) levels, which are indicators of lipid peroxidation, were followed. According to the data obtained from the study, B. aryabhattai bacteria had the highest removal efficiency of 71.1% on COD basis in 10 ml B. aryabhattai medium; On the basis of TOC, it was determined as 85.6%. When the enzyme activity results were examined, it was determined that MDA levels increased at the end of both the 24th and 96th hours in the groups treated with three different subletal doses of glyphosate when compared with the AChE control, and the GSH levels and SOD, CAT enzyme activity decreased, thus B. aryabhattai's bioremediation activities. In addition to being an active bacterial species, it was concluded that G. pulex is also a suitable model for toxic response studies in receptive environments.
