Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, increasing vehicle density and dynamic road conditions have significantly increased the importance of active vehicle control systems. This study proposes a hybrid control strategy to optimize stability and road holding during critical cornering maneuvers in vehicles. Proposed system provides weight transfer control with active suspension, while torque vectoring strategy provides independent torque distribution to each needed wheel. Control algorithms activate the two systems gradually by monitoring the vehicle's cornering tendencies in real time. In the simulations performed in CarMaker and MATLAB-Simulink environments; decreased side slip angle in tight corners, increased road holding performance and reduced wheel load fluctuations were observed. The results prove that the hybrid approach extends the stability limits compared to single-system control strategies and significantly increases driving safety in critical scenarios.
