Abstract (EN)

In this study, Trabzon kemancha oral performance tradition, which has an important place in the Turkish oral culture performance tradition, has been analyzed with the elements belonging to the tradition. The themes, concepts, symbols and motifs in the transcribed repertoires of the Trabzon region's kemancha artists were studied in detail. In the "Introduction" section of our study, the formation of the tradition of minstrelsy was briefly mentioned, and then the problem, method, scope and purpose of the research were mentioned. In the first part, the history, geographical and sociocultural situation of the study area is explained in general terms. In the second part, Trabzon kemancha oral performance tradition has been evaluated with reference to the former relevant literature. In the third chapter, the transcribed texts are classified according to their structure, meter and subject. The form / structure features of the texts are mentioned, and they were examined in terms of the structure of the measures, bent and connections, rhyme pattern and redif angles. Mold expressions were deteced in the texts, the connections and relationships between them were revealed. In the fourth chapter, the analyzed concepts, symbols and motifs of the texts are explained in detail. In the fifth chapter, the biographies of the kemancha artists and the transcribed texts of the records were included. In the conclusion, it is concluded that, based on all these datas, the tradition is still strongly continued in the region by kemancha artists; that the horon, the battle of words song has an important place in the identity of the local people; that the audience and popular culture play a dominant role in the repertoire of kemancha artists; the Trabzon kemancha oral performance tradition is not separated from the tradition of minstrelsy at all.
