Abstract (EN)
This study was performed in the Trabzon and Rize deep sea discharge lines which established for domestic waste discharge and lines were active during this study. Real ground data and model results were examined in this lines.Real ground data and ambient water samples for pH, suspended, solids, nitrate and phosphate values were evaluated for October 2004, February, April, October 2005 expeditions.Developed by EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as environmentally-purpose program called CORMIX was used for this study.Measurements of phosphate especially in the deep sea discharge line in Değirmendere were hiğh due to Değirmendere?s pollutant overload. In Rize due to high proportion of agricultural land and slope, phosphate values have been measured high in coastal areas. The values were found normal levels in Söğütlü. Değirmendere, Söğütlü and Rize deep sea discharge line?s effluents were not reached coastal line in damaging extent. However, during the construction of thes systems, possible entry of pollutants from differnt sources must be taken to consideration. While building discharge lines this situation must be taken into account and models must be utilized.Key Words: CORMIX, Deep Sea Discharge, Water Quality, Pollutant Dispertion
