Abstract (EN)

The numbered 173 Ankara religion record consists of the documents recorded in book, sent from other authorities and the suit records heard in Ankara law court through 26th November 1783 – 15th September 1784. Thanks to the suit records and the allocation book, we may find opportunity to make the data analysis with the statistical information produced in the fields such as the management mechanism, the historical geography of Ankara, running of the Ottoman law system, demographical structure, cultural signs, social, economic and religious living of public, the production-consumption capacity for agriculture, husbandry and commercial ways in city. In this study in context of time and place it is tried to contribute to some extent to literature in the usability points of the ottoman archive resources and the Ottoman law system in the subject context with the administrative and socio-economic history of Ankara.
