Abstract (EN)

It is called intricate financial literacy, including planning the income, saving, investment and spending of individuals, avoiding losses and reflecting on economic opportunities and money effectively. This process; It should be considered as a lifelong dynamic process, as financial information needs to be updated as changes continue in technology, science and financial markets. Individual financial literacy price rises. Knowledge acquisition contributes to the development of entrepreneurship and diving. Individual literacy and social welfare cannot be considered separately. This situation reveals the necessity of financial education in order to increase the level of financial literacy. In order for such an education to be carried out more efficiently, studies should be started by determining the levels of financial literacy. This process progresses faster and more efficiently. This publication has started to make relevant researches in many institutions, organizations and universities, level determination and comparisons have been carried out. The reseach in TRB1 aims to determine the financial literacy rates in four universities and to compare these rates. In accordance with this purpose; Foresight will be made about what kind of training should be given to increase the financial literacy level of university students. For this reason, 2574 students from 21 faculties, 2 institutes and Vocational Schools were reached by random sampling from Tunceli Munzur University, Bingöl University, Elazığ Fırat University and Malatya İnönü Universities, a questionnaire was applied and data were obtained. The questionnaires included questions investigating some information such as demographic information, basic plan economy and finance, private banking, pension and insurance, financial statements, investment, tax and legislation. Special and general hypotheses related to these questions were applied, and significant relationships were sought between gender factor, class level of student, field of education and financial literacy in the use of internet banking in the sample groups. With the research, it was tried to contribute to science by extracting the financial literacy information of the TRB1 region, which has never been studied before.
