vABSTRACTA TYPICAL AND FORMAL STUDY OF ACEMAŞ RAN SAZSEMA RECORDEDIN TRT REPERTORYYavuz TUTUŞMusic DepartmentAfyon Kocatepe ÜniversityInstitute of Social SciencesJune 2006Advisor: Dr. Yusuf M R ŞLIn this project, which is made to contribute of the development of sazsemaithat is an instrumental form, acemaşiran sazsemai that are registered in TRT repertoryhave been analyzed in types and forms.Types, forms and the topics of sazsemai have been explained in the first part ofthe project which is composed of three parts. In the second part, maqams andacemaşiran maqam have been analyzed. And in the third part, the tracks have beenanalyzed, paraphrased and the composers have been sorted by centuries which theylived in.Consequently, it has been determined that some of the tracks which wereanalyzed alike with each other, in some tracks it was gone beyond the type, a lot oftracks are example of fasıl sazsemai and some of the tracks are example of consertsazsemai.
