The role of agricultural cooperatives in accessing safe food according to the consumers perceptions

The aim of the study is reveal the knowledge and perception of consumers about agricultural cooperatives. The research is an exploratory and cross-sectional research. In the study, the literature on agricultural cooperatives and safety food was examined, and the data collected by applying to survey method to 150 participants in Adana and Mersin provinces selected by convenience sampling method were analyzed and evaluated. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), independent t-test and one-way ANOVA analysis were used in the analysis of the data. With the research, to find the answer of the questions such as what is the level of knowledge of the consumers about agricultural cooperatives, what is the level of knowledge about the concept of safety food, what are their opinions about agricultural cooperatives, what are the opinions of consumers about safety food.
