Abstract (EN)

In this study, which investigates the factors related to shopping addiction, the primary data are collected, analyzed and interpreted with a survey conducted in Tunceli following literature review. It is seen that shopping addiction has not been investigated sufficiently in small-scale provinces and there is not enough fieldwork. In this context; shopping, shopping addiction, causes and consequences of shopping addiction are examined primarily at theoretical level. Then, with the help of the data collection tools, it is tried to reveal the factors related to shopping addiction and increasing positive or negative effects depending on our consumption behavior. In this study, shopping addiction and consumption habits, which have increased in recent years due to technological developments and some trends brought by popular culture, will be examined and discussed at local level.
