Evaluation of cloud computing system with technology acceptance model in tourism enterprises

Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of the research is to find out the attitudes of managers and employees in tourism enterprises towards cloud computing system (CCS) by explaining the relationship of CCS with Technology Acceptance Model 3. The participants of the research consists of staff who use CCS in Turkey and work in 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels with an "Operating Certificate" from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Purposeful sampling technique was used in the study and 390 questionnaires were taken under consideration. An information form and the "Technology Acceptance Model 3 Scale" were used to determine the characteristics of employees and enterprises in collecting the data of the research. As a result of testing their hypotheses in the research; it was found that the perceived usefullness of CCS is not affected by subjective norm, image, job relevance and result demonstrability, wheras, the output quality and the perceived usefullness did. Perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and subjective norm affect behavioral intention regarding CCS. The subjective norm regarding the CCS also affects the image. The quality output of the CCS does not support the relationship between job relevance and perceived usefulness variable.
