Abstract (EN)
In this study, in order to examine the principles of minimum manning of the Turkish flagged ships; Our national manning regulation compared with international regulations. 181 Turkish flagged ship's crew lists were compared with Minimum Safety Manning Certificates. Shipping company human resources managers, identified the severity of the principles of minimum manning then evaluated by AHP method. The study results; criterias associated with the operating conditions and associated with ships 42,9% and related companies found to have an important 14,3%. Moreover, the Turkish flagged ship's Minimum Safety Manning Certificate has been shown to not meet the international requirements.
