Abstract (EN)

Leadership is one of the most important features of management. The most important part of leadership is decision making. An effective manager is expected to make decisions at the most appropriate time by considering all the alternatives. The leadership qualities that managers have in the construction sector are the basis of success. The study aimed to determine the relationship between leadership and decision-making styles of managers (architects and civil engineers) working in the Turkish construction sector. In this context, the Decision Making Styles Scale (DMS) used to determine the decision-making styles of managers in the Turkish construction sector and the Multiple Factor Leadership Scale (MLQ Form, 5X), used to determine the leadership styles of managers in the Turkish construction industry.
