Abstract (EN)

It is important to work on Aykut Edibali in Turkish political life. Especially in the 1960s and 1970s, the work of Aykut Edibali, who took part in the Turkish political life with the founding of the Re-National Struggle (Yeniden Milli Mücadele) and the discourses within the union, is almost non-existent. Considering that today's name, discourses and political parties are not heard too much, Aykut Edibali's; It is aimed to analyze his life, his works, his ideals, his political parties, and his discourses. The primary sources used in the study were created especially from works written by Aykut Edibali personally. These works were subjected to analysis and as a result of the analyses, the social and political life of Aykut Edibali was tried to be revealed as a whole. In addition to the existing primary sources, articles, news and internet sources published in newspapers and magazines were also used. In addition, information was provided from works and books prepared by experts. The study prepared in this context consists of three main sections. In the first part, after brief information about Aykut Edibali, the Yeniden Milli Mücadele, its publication life, works, and ideals are mentioned. In the second part, the political vision in his works has been tried to be conveyed. In particular, the concept of the nation, ideology and nationalism, its thoughts on terrorism and the fight against terrorism and the Cyprus issue are included in this section. In the third and last part, the political parties he founded and the activities and discourses of these parties are included.
