Benefits of founders in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code

Firstly, it was attempted in this work to ascertain the importance of possessing the 'founder' title in joint-stock companies, and its results with respect to the activities of the company and legal responsibilites arising thereof, within the time period starting with the signature of Articles of Association until the registration of the company to the Commercial Register. One of the results of possessing the abovementioned title is being granted certain rights under the name of 'benefits of founders', provided that it is foreseen in the Articles of Association. The detailed analysis of the rights that can be granted through these benefits, the possible subjects of these rights and the relationship between the right owners and the joint-stock company consititute the subsequent and more comprehensive part of this work.
