Vocabulary and messages of Eyyüp Akyüz's fairy tale books in terms of turkish education

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the tale books written by Eyyüp AKYÜZ in the field of children's literature named Awakening Tales, Fairy Tale Well, Exquisite Tales, Fairy Tale Basket and The Empire of Happy Flies were examined in terms of vocabulary and language messages, and the findings about vocabulary were presented in a table. In the conclusion part, language messages and the frequency of use of vocabulary were evaluated. In the study, more information was given on the genre of fairy tales, one of the children's literature and children's literature products. In addition to Turkish education, Turkish lesson is also mentioned in general. Language messages, vocabulary and the elements it contains, which form the basis of the study, were discussed in detail. The life and literary personality of Eyyüp AKYÜZ, who works in the field of children's literature, has also been emphasized. In the review section, vocabulary elements (idioms, proverbs, duplications, stereotypes, reflection words, rhymes) in the works were determined, the findings were tabulated and interpreted in terms of Turkish education. As a result of the research, Eyyüp AKYÜZ's works named "Awakening Tales, Fairy Tale Well, Exquisite Tales, Fairy Tale Basket and the Empire of Happy Flies" are rich in idioms, dilemmas and stereotypes; However, it was determined that they were not rich in terms of other vocabulary items examined.
