Turkey's and EU's agricultural policy

When the time human being survived on the Earth, agriculture and agricultural activities have not to been a voided. Since one of the most important agricultural function is first of all to meet nourishment and then clothing. The agricultural sector has important share in respect of developing national economy and realizing income trasfer to industrial sector. However, the agricultural sector, due to its structural characteristics, reguires support. The study's main target is priority handle Turkey's agricultural policy applications and clear characteristics of national agriculture then by means of synthesizing one of the major economic union, the EU's adopted agricultural policy characteristics and to put forward Turkey's accomodation coditions with EU. For this aim, priority of this study's in the first and the second part is handled respectively Turkey's agricultural sector structure in historical prosedüre and main targets of agricultural policy applications. While in the third part is examined Turkey's agriculture support policy structure applications. Then in the fourth part is worked to discover EU's Joint Agriculture Policy's characteristics.After then, in the fifth part is handled the difference between agricultural structure and policy with Turkey and EU, tried to reach how it is possible to accomodate EU's agricultural policy in Turkey. As a result, it is possible to say that the agricultural sector is never renounced but because of its structural characteristics supporting is became necessary. On the other hand, indicated agriculturel policies must satisfy fill reguirements of national economy and social structure. In addition, the agricultural policy has to have a variable structure if necessary to make reform in the agriculturral sector. While economik developments are happening in the world Turkey must accomodate with EU's Acricultural Policy. This condition can be taken as a advantage and used to improve national economy. IX
