Özet (EN)

Turkism is a view which aims The Turkish Nation to raise in every field. Some of the intellectuals creating Turkısm were assigned as MP in Turkish Grand National Assembly The emphasis on Turkish during the speeches of MPs draws our attention. Even though "Anasır-ı İslam" or "Ottoman" words were prefepred as a nation concept durıng the first years of the parliement, The expression of "Turkish Nation" was adapted in the followıng years after. The 1924 constitution was changed The ministers of the governmet took actions along with the speeches of Turkısm. Words of foreign origin were replaced with their Turkısh equivalances ın order to make Islam be understood better, Turkıfication attempts were seen in this field. The dominatıon of foreigners decreased in business. Natıonal capital was encouraged. The goverment came ınto contact with the Turks in the central Asia The people in the goverment announced that theywere following "Turkish policy" at the parliement from time to time The case of Racism- Panturanism during the WWII accelerated the process of formıng the association and of spreadıng the idea of Turkism Key Words: Turk, Assembly, Turkısh Grand National Assembly, Turkısh, Minister, Nation.
