Studies of non-governmental organizations (NGOS) in Turkey to prevent the poverty caused by the war in syria: Examples of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Turkish Red crescent society, and Deniz Feneri association

Although there is no objective and existing definition of poverty which everyone has a common opinion, In general manner, this concept refers to the state of being deprived of facilities required for life. There are many factors that cause poverty. There are many factors that cause poverty. But, the most brutal and severe of these reasons is the poverty that is the result of wars. In this regard, we have prepared our study with the title of "Studies of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Turkey to prevent the poverty caused by the war in Syria: Examples of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Turkish Red Crescent Society, and Deniz Feneri Assocıation. In this study, problems of Syrian refugees in need of humanitarian assistance due to the Syrian Civil War have been revealed. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Turkish Red Crescent Society, and Deniz Feneri Association have a lot of activities in Turkey and in Syria to abolish these problems and to prevent poverty by supplying Syrians with humanitarian aid materials. In this study, concepts of poverty and non-governmental organizations were explained firstly. Activities of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Turkish Red Crescent Society, and Deniz Feneri Association to fight poverty caused by the Syrian War were examined. It is tried to present how effective these activities are in abolishing the poverty of Syrians. Results of this study were revealed as a guiding source for NGOs in different structures and areas operates in this area.
