Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to search the employment of Syrian women in Turkey and their working conditions. In other words, this research is prepared in order to assess the views of working Syrian women in the Esenyurt district of Turkey. Due to the civil war which occurred in Syria in 2011, there has been a great migration from Syria to Turkey. With this migration, Syrians have been given "temporary protected status". When data of Turkey's migration management is examined, women who are given temporary protected status constitute an important part of Syrian migration. As a result of discussing the working conditions of women employed with migration, filling the gap in Turkish literature makes this research important. To investigate the employment and working conditions of Syrian women in Turkey, a number of questions were asked under the headings of demographic information, information on the labour market, information on working conditions, and information on fundamental rights in the workplace. In this research, "qualitative research method" is adopted and "semi-structured in-depth interview technique" is used. Interviews are conducted by 16 Syrian refugee women with different demographic characteristics.
