An evaluation of education?s curriculum of tourism guidance education in Turkey

Regulation of training programs to meet the needs of education stakeholdersand according to the conditions in the current era, updating their trainings to students, as well as a good, is extremely important in terms of effective use of resources. This study aimed to evaluate teaching programs in Turkey under the guidance of the higher-level tourism. In this respect, be the first to study education, tourism guidanceand training program conducted a literature review on evaluation issues.The application part of the study, data was collected using questionnaire technique stakeholders in the tourism guidance training. Tourist guide trainingcurricula within the scope of the findings of the stakeholders whether or not a significant difference between reviews will be tested by analysis of variance. In this context, according to the result obtained from the survey data, education stakeholders'difference was observed between groups in perceptions of curriculum evaluation. Education programs within the framework of higher education qualifications reviews of education stakeholders 'perceptions on the knowledge and skills of students and other education stakeholders' assessments differ only in size has been observed that the scale dimension of personal and professional competencies of groups determined that there was no significant difference between reviews. As a result of all these results in order to contribute to the training of tourism guidance, an instructional program modelin the light of the results obtained from the study was prepared.Key Words: Education, Training, Program evaluation, Tourism education, Tourism guidance educationprograms
