The impact of getting education on Syrian refugees integration in Turkey

Migration has recently become the main agenda in the world. Many people decide to immigrate voluntarily or have been forced to immigrate due to instability in the country, civil wars and economic reasons. Countries receiving migration form policies to combat these migration waves. Turkey is one of the most immigration countries in recent years. Turkey never received so much migrant throught the history. Turkey is trying to manage migration with new immigration policies. In this context, the law No.6458 on Foreigners and International Protection was enacted in 2013 and the General Directorate of Migration Management was established at he same time. In this study which underlies conceptualization and institutionalization of the integration and cross cultural relationships, aims to find out impact of the education of the immigrants who are immigrated from Syria to Turkey, which is one of the fundamental arguments in the subject of the integration of immigrants. Education policies applied to immigrants who emigrated form Syria to Turkey and the impact of these policies on migrants were investigated. The survey was conducted in Gaziantep to compare the integration of the refugees who were educated in Turkey and those who were not. The impact of getting education on Syrian refugees integration in Turkey was tried to be measured over polygamy. It is possible to talk about the effect of education on the integration of Syrian migrants. However, it can be said that culture is more effective in the integration of Syrian migrants than education. It can be said that some habits of Syrian migrants have become a culture.
