Multi-purpose cadastre approach for Turkey

In Turkey with cadastral works have been at completion phase, renovation of cadastral map sheets which have worn off, been out of date, not been in the necessary susceptibility and had problems in appliqueing to the ground has been done. In this study; historical development and existing state of Turkish cadastral system, problems of existing state and renovation works beyond and expectations of modern cadastre have been stated. Existing problems of Turkish cadastre have been examined by choosing settlements, which have graphic and fotogrametric sheets in Aksaray. It can be seen that cadastral renovation works have only digitized cadastral map sheets as in the study area. Within renovation works, voluntary partition and transition transaction can't be done. Neighbor parcel owners have occupied almost all of treasury real estates. Similar occupations can be seen at forage and cadastral external areas. Although application areas have been using for agricultural and husbandry intentional, it is difficult to associate generated data by related institutions with property. At cadastral works, data of multi-purpose cadastre should be supplied while collecting graphic and attribute data generated by state institutions and organizations such as land value, soil classification and product pattern. Cadastral works should be done within 2nd cadastre for sustainable land management.
